I don't know enough to judge it. But it is brave. If it works it

a whole can of worms with security I should think. But it is cool.

It's brave? nah. Talk is cheap. Especially University Grad student
talk. That is cheaper than free .

There's not much of a security issue between periperals on a single PCB or
between chips in a single module. We'ere not talking about broadcasting
radio through the air here; we're only talking about channeling RF signals
along conductive strips.
