Hi,

I'm new to the Windows providers, can anyone point me to some information
about how to debug VSS HW Provider? I tried VC.net attach process but didn't
know which one I should attach to. I think I need to learn some VC++ basic
debugging skill. Please help.

Hi,

I found I need to attach dllhost.exe to debug the vsssampleprovider.dll. But
there are multiple instances of dllhost.exe in the system. I also found the
windbg.exe has the service information of each process so that I could tell
which dllhost.exe is the one I should attach. There is another program
"process explorer" from www.sysinternals.com also displays the service
information in it's service tab.
