Hi,

If there is any one out there who can give advice on the pros and cons of netapp verse EMC I would appreciate it.

We are looking at storage for both file server as well as SQL databases.
The SQL database is pretty small - about 80GB, but alot of reports are run, so the IO is quite important. We are looking at ISCSI only and not
FC.

We have been offered a FAS270c from Netapp and a NS501 from EMC.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen the post of:

My question is focused more on how Netapp would do with the SQL server
compared with EMC, also the functionality of both systems, as far as snapshots are concerned, and general virtualisation etc...

Smile
