Hi all,

Five or ten years ago, there was a video chip
that was released that implemented multiple
overlapping windows in hardware, instead of
software.

Can anyone name that chip?

Thanks.

It was also released between 15 and 20 years ago.

Intel 82786.

I'm thinking of a different chip, that actually
was put on consumer-type video cards. "Win" was
in the name.
