Access Denied Folder after Reinstallation |

Basically I have the problem described here:

except the solution isn't working for me, when I go under the owner tag, it
shows that the folder is already giving full permissions to everybody on the
computer.
What happened was the folder used to be locked under windows XP (no SP i
think, maybe SP1, but definetly not SP2), and I installed some program on my
computer (not a virus) that made it so that my internet didn't work so a
friend of mine copied everything on my computer over to an external hard
drive using Norton Ghost, and then reinstalled Windows XP (SP2) onto the
internall drive.
but now as i stated above am not able to get into c:\Documents and
Settings\Ryan
P.S. the folder was locked by windows because i selected other users on this
computer may not look at my files. |
