We are seeing a problem on our Windows 2003 Storage Server where volumes on
are reset to the default file and share permissions when our cluster resource
fails over from one server to another.

Has anyone seen this problem or a similar problem?

Thank you,

How do you have your shares configured? The shares in the cluster should be
defined in the cluster resource, and not on the indivdual servers.

To add to Eric's comments, you should also review the following KB which
describes how to correctly configure a file share resource in a MS cluster:

Thank you both, I will look into the share permissions and the article.
