Missing icons in Windows Storage Server 2003? |

I have a question regarding Windows Storage Server 2003. Several weeksago I
installed SAK 3.0 on my W2K3 Enterprise Edition machine. Afterhaving studied
the three modules

7-ad18-9aded1c5cf0b&displaylang=enI suddenly realised my "Shares" page
misses three icons, namelyStorage Reports, File Screening and Directory
Quota. It only containsthe icons Folders, Shares and Sharing Protocols. I
browsed theInternet, but I can't seem to find the solution to my problem. Is
itthe setup that I messed up?Any pointer is welcome.Kind regards,Casper. |

I tried to follow the link, but it had no results :)
Storage Reports, File Screening and Directory Quota are features of "Storage
Manager 2.0" - a separate install from SAK 3.0. So, by missing icons I am
assuming that it wasn't installed at all. Or, you did install it and it is
not showing up in the WebUI?
Assuming that you did not install it, you would need to follow up with your
OEM sales representative as it involves separate licensing.

Hi
I have the same problem of Casper and hence I try to download Storage Manager 2.0 but I have found only 1.01. This version seems not work with SAK 3.0...at this point where can I find 2.0 versin

You will need to go thru your OEM to get Storage Manager 2.0. It's actually
a stripped down version of "Storage Central" from Veritas that Microsoft
bundles with WSS 2003 for OEMs.
