I have completed a Windows XP Home Edition Repair from booting the OEM CD in
the drive and seleting the appropriate repair options. After the repair, the
normal icons that show up for most programs are not showing up. When I write
click on the icons (i.e. Microsoft Anti-Spyware) the only options are
Properies, delete and make shortcut. There is not option to start the
program. Also, I was able to click Start>Run>Browse and I can browse around,
but 99% of the files have no association, therefore no icon. Any suggestions?
