Hi,

I have a problem with accessing my shares on my labtop.
When i was on the nework with my labtop i did create a share on the C drive,
i gave myself full contorol on Share and NTFS, after i could access this
local share without any problem.
When i toke the labtop off from network, stranglly i could not access this
local share.
I did made myself member of local Admin but still the same problem.
Why cann't i access this share on my local hard drive?

Any help would be welcome.

Shahin

You need to use the same account which you used when configuring permission
for yourself to access over network. My guess is that Local Admin group does
not have permissions to the folder. So, even if you add yourself into the
group you can't access.

Check out again the security permissions (since you access it locally, share
permissions do not have influence here).
