You could adjust N downwards, but that will increase the bandwidth of
the detector. The bandwidth is Fs/N. You could try N=70, k=5, which
would center the detector on 3000*5/70 = 214Hz and have a bandwidth of
43Hz. With N=240, k=17, you're centered on 212Hz with a 12.5Hz.
