Hello All:

I am looking for 3rd party software that has the capability to automatically
archive data to a specified location using rules or other criteria (age of
files etc). I'd like to implement off or near line storage whether disk
arrays or tape but I need software that will dothe archiving for me without
manual adminsitration. Can anyone point me ot a vendor or recommend any
products that would fit this bill.

I have some experience with Legato DiskXtender 2000 (DX2000). It is very flexible regarding the archiving rules and you van migrate your files to disk or tape. Once the required configuration is configured properly, very little administration will be required. Visit the Legato website for more info.
