FSK Correlation Demodulator |
|
|
Hello,
I want to demodulate a FSK signal by correlation dedector. But I have n
knowledge how it will be done. Can you show me the way? |

The best way to demodulate FSK is to pay to someone who knows how do it.
Also I can show you the way to the library.

I hope someone can, but that one isn't me. I have a question for you,
though. If you know nothing about it, why does it appeal to you?

Use a PLL.

Because I'm trying to do a FSK homework. And this subjects aren't touche
on during lesson. I have to do these ones by searching. I search ever
site, but I couldn't find any information about how the correlatio
dedector is applied in to demodulation in matlab. I asked because o
this...Still,I don't know correlation...If you really know a source abou
this, please share with me... |

I can try to help you Opamp.
Even without money :)
When you mix two signals: y1*y2 with y1 FSK signal and y2 a
sinusoid
You obtain a result varying in time (y1*y2)(t)
Correlation is the integral during a period of T of (y1*y2)(t)
e.g if y1 and y2 during T seconds have different frequencies (in general
different phases along time), if the integral is near zero, it can be said
that y1 and y2 are uncorrelated or dissimilar.

This is the zero lag correlation, not correlation. y1 and y2 can be
nearly orthogonal. Orthognal signals are highly correlated.
