Hi all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the volume of a G729
recording/stream by changing the GA1/GB1/GA2/GB2 gain fields within each
G729 frame? This would remove a huge overhead in decoding the frame,
increasing the volume and then re-encoding it again.

If it is possible, how should these fields be changed?

Many thanks,

Paul.<><

Generally is not possible because of the effect on the LTP and STP memories.
