Home directory migration with redirected folders... |
|
|
Our company is planning to migrate it's home directories from one server to
another. Unfortunately there are redirected folders inside the home
directories and the option for them to have exclusive rights was checked when
it was created. This means that the user is the owner of these redirected
folders.
I would like to know if there is a way to copy the entire directory
structure with out taking ownership of these directories in order to give
myself rights to them?
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,

This looks very promising, I will let you know how it goes after I attempt
it, maybe this weekend.
Thanks a lot!
