Hi,

I have a SAN setup with a Dell server connected to a Brocade 4100 (4
Gig) switch. On the same switch i have HP MSA 1500, EMC CX300 and a
RAMSAN SSD which i want to use as cache for EMC storage to take
advantage of the 4 gig speed. I have a 4 Gig HBA on the server.

Now the problem that I am facing here is that the RamSan is able to see
the LUN's on the HP MSA but I can't see the LUN's on the EMC clariion.
However, on the server i can see the LUN's from both HP and EMC
storage. I found that configuring LUN's on HP MSA is quite simple and
it becomes visible to host without any issues but for EMC clariion we
need to register the Host and assign the host to the storage group to
make it visible on that host. I was able to do that for the HBA on
server (as i can see the LUN's on server), but have no idea how to make
it visible on RamSan so that i can use the RamSan disk as cache for EMC
LUN's.

I will appreciate any help or suggestion on this.

Thanks in Advance
