I am very new to embedded system and I have an idea in my mind to make. First of all I am a web developer who developes intranet applications and internet sites.

I want to make a toy that is connected to a something like a keyboard and whenever the user cliks a button, the toy plays a certain record.

I do not know how to start, what programming langauge, operating system, microcontroller/microprocessor to use?

I can not figure the whole story, please advice me.
