My office is using a SAN mainly consisting of an MA8000 controller and a SAN fiber switch. It's got a problem we can't figure out yet.
The power is a bit unstable and tends to break from time to time. We got a UPS installation phase coming. but untill then the problem is that whenever an unexpected shutdown occurs, the access shares that are provided to the users disappear and they have to be recreated. The data doesn't disappear though which is good.

So is this common or not and what can be done about it if anyone knows.

Appreciate your help, thanx.
