Hi,
I have just installed ISE 8.1i SP1. I noticed that in my PC it doesn't use well ram resourse. _pn.exe process increases its ram usage during a complete implementation and it doesn't release it when every other process ends (xst.exe, map.exe, par.exe etc..)
My PC is a Pentium 2,8 GHz with 512 MB ram, my fpga design uses a virtex 2 v1000 device. It is a very large design with a lot of coregen.
Is there someone with same problems?
