i have two servers
both DCs both host replicas of one domain DFS root
the replication is going on at night ove rthe VPN
recently i noticed that on one of them the staging area
gets clogged up
every day it adds files in there but doesn't delete them

the other server is doing alright
and it seems like the replication actually takes place fine
cause all the files get in place

tried FRSDiag and Sonar
neither one gave me any any hints to why it's happening

does that sound familiar to anyone?

a little more info

the server i thought was fine is actually the one in
trouble
it doesn't receive the downstream replication

sonar on it shows lastOutJoin connection of few days
and it also fails to collect data from other partners with
WMI error ...

no eventlog errors recorded

anybody any ideas?
please
