Files WILL NOT delete |
|
|
Hey there,
i have a bit of a problem. When a client logs into my
network ( windows XP client) and attempts to delete some
of his / her files they come back when the client logs
back on to the server.
I have tried verything i know ( setting ownership ,
giveing extra permissions) but nothing seems to work i
was wondering if somebody out there could point me in the
right direction.
Thanks

Got roaming profiles enabled (in a domain)? Do the users have full control
of the profiles folder?
Check the event logs on the workstation for userenv errors.

Yeah, I have a similar problem, but the user can delte
thier own files but, when I try it doesn't work. I am
logged in as an admin on a different domain, but I have
full permissions on the folder. Did you ever get this
resolved?
