Hello,

New to MS 2003 server. Was changing some permissions (on
the root drive C) and seemed to mess things up a bit. I
now get several service errors at boot up. I now also
have a corrupt recycle bin after the change.

Is there some way to revert back to the default
permissions on my C drive?

I don't know what the original permission were but would
really really like them back!

I'd rather not re-install everything. As a bare minimum,
is there a list of default permissions that I could use as
a reference maybe?

Thanks much,

Mark

This article may help. Although it is for Windows 2000 the steps should be
the same.
