I have a Windows 2003 Domain Controller in my test lab.
The problem I am running into is that if you go to the
properties of all of the folders on the server the Read-
Only attrib is checked. The check box looks grayed out
but I can clear it and click apply with no error messages
but when I close and open the properties for the folder
the check mark reappears. When I login to the domain I
can read the content of the folders but cannot modify it
even though the user account I am using has the proper
permissions. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Andy,

Sometimes you have to re-take ownership of the
files/folders and sometimes you have a problem and have
to run chkdsk /f.

Sincerely,

Craig
