Is there a way to set permissions on a folder which allows users to copy, but
not cut a file within that folder?

Currently, the folder is set to
allow read & executre
allow list folder contents
allow read
deny write

The permissions are working in the sense that users cannot write
to the folder. However, there have been several instances where they
accidently
cut instead of copy.

How can I set the permissions so they cannot cut anything from a folder
while still allowing them to copy?

Thanks!

You could use Advanced to deny Delete, but Office docs when edited do a delete
and rename.

Thank you very much - this will probably work in my situation because these
folders do not contain any office documents
Thanks again; I'll give it a shot.
