I've inherited a file system consisting of 8 File-Servers with a total amount
of approximately 1 Terabyte of data, I've already migrated away from MS
Windows NT 4.0 Server SP6a to MS Windows Server 2003 Standard, however the
company that did the administration of this environment did not know anything
about using Groups... I'm left with 1 Terabyte in an unmanageable folder-tree
with user-based-permissions...

I would really like to clean this mess down to groups based on
folder-level...is there any tool or script available that creates a group
with the folder name in the Domain, enumerates all existing users that have
folder-permissions and adds these to the newly created group ?

Sorry for the complexity of the subject, I hope that the guy that created
this mess got a basic NT course or has a completely different job by now...

Thanks for any suggestions,

Ps: I know saveacl, restacl, addusers, etc... but this vast amount of data
requires advanced scripting knowledge that I don't possess.
