DFS Hub and Spoke |
|
|
I checked through the posts, and didn't see anything on this, so sorry if I
missed something. I'm trying to replciate data from one source, let's call it
the Master, and have it copy to all it's Slaves. I want this to be a one way
only replication, where changes at the Master, are pushed out to all the
Slaves, but any changes on the Slaves are pretty much dropped (Clients need
to be able to update these folders aka have read write, I just don,t want
thier changes replicated anywhere else). I know this happens with the first
replication cycle in a Hub-And-Spoke design, but I'm not sure how to force it
to stay that way. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.

FYI there is a discussion group for DFS/FRS
microsoft.public.windows.dfs_frs
What you want is possible.
I have run across it before.
I'll see if I can find the documentation on it.
