Sharing all files and folders |
|
|
I want to be able to decide for myself which folders and
file to share. For example, I want to allow sharing across
my peer-to-peer LAN of the XP Windows directory. Can someone
give the links or clews as to how to overcome the
recurring "read only" attribute when I try to change the
windows sd, and ACCESS DENIED messages when trying to access
it from the rest of my LAN? I do not have a problem with
accessing other directories because I am able to set the
sharing flag. I have administrator privileges. There is one
XP machine and four Win 98 machines. |

Have you turned off Simple File Sharing?
