Robocopy locks files problem |

Hello,
I'm testing Robocopy (version XP010) on Win2003 Server. I've some
problems.
It seems that robocopy locks the source file during the copy. Can I
disable the lock?
To help you to understand I try to explain my situation. I have an
application that reads, writes and delete many files on the disk.
I use robocopy to "online backup" the files repository to another disk.
But, if during robocopy is copying, my application try to write or
delete a file, it gets an error (the file is locked by robocopy).
Is there a way to make a "robocopy background backup" without any
locks?
BackUp utility in Win2003 uses Shadow Copy to make an image of files
before/during backup. Right? Is there a way to do the same with
robocopy?
