I have a folder that hangs the computer when accessed. |

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for my problem, so if it is not, I would appreciate being steered in a better
direction.
I am using 98SE. I recently updated the Service Patches and also installed Dazzle, which is a video capture and editing
program (I'm sure of the quality of the program). Shortly thereafter I noticed a new folder in named "My Pictures" with
an icon that looks like metal film suitcase.
When I click on it or try to use it or delete it, Windows Explorer doesn't behave normally and within a few keystrokes I
have to shut Windows Explorer down and sometimes even have to reboot the computer. When trying to manipulate the couple
of files that have made their way into that folder I get the message "Can't cut, copy, rename or delete in the Media
Manager Root Folder while Indexer is running. Stop Indexer before trying again."
My question and problem -
Why is it a root folder, how did it get there, what is the indexer, and how do I work with that? I really would like to
delete the folder because that is not how I want my files organized, so if someone knows how to do that, that would
suffice.
Would appreciate some help and suggestions.
