Hi

Installed new W2K3 file and print server.
Created a share at root level on NTFS drive D:

Shared permissions had everyone - full control, and assigned specific group
security permissions.

user logs in from workstation and can access the share, but cannot save
changes......access denied....

I noticed that if i click on the folder share properties "Read only" is
ticked.....if i take it off and go back in to check, it comes on again.....

What is happening, what is the new defaults, and what is the best way to
create a share.

Regards Ray
