So,

Now that we have PCIe, how long will it be before someone produces a
processor on a PCIe card with connectors on the backplate being for
(as a minimum) 'coolant liquid in' and 'coolant liquid out'?

Hmmm, the coolant idea would be great for GPU's as well.

Well, if it wasn't already in the public domain, it is now.
