If you are a practicing Software Architect, or are interested in the
field of software architecture come and join us for the next free
meeting of the New York Chapter of The International Association of
Software Architects (See www.iasarchitects.org)
This group is run by volunteers who are practicing architects in the
New York City area. We meet monthly to have free presentations on
topics of interest to the membership and to allow our members to
network with their fellow architects.
Our next meeting will be on March 22nd. At that meeting we will have a
presentation by Bill Zentmayer (Microsoft Technical Architect) on the
subject of "Visual Studio Team Architect". This meeting will be
held at Microsoft, 1290 Avenue of the Americas, 6th Floor (between 51st
and 52nd). More details on this meeting will be sent out the week
before the meeting.
We also have two subsequent meetings scheduled, and are working on
setting up more. If there is a Software Architecture or Methodology
topic that you would like covered please let us know. We are also
looking for practicing Software Architects who are interested in making
presentations to the group.
Additional meetings:
April 26th
Jeff Tash, Creator of Flashmaps, will present the Enterprise
Architecture topic: "A Technology Architecture Approach to Standards &
Governance". (See http://www.itscout.org)
