Does anyone have experience with this that they can share? I've some
questions, which I'll list below, but I'm also looking for a general
impression of how well this works.

Our initial plan is to configure two GFS-ing machines sharing a dual-hosted
SCSI array. Later, we'll shift this to iSCSI and then add more GFS-ing
machines.

My specific questions are:

o Does this work? Does GFS/Cluster Suite really permit
the two systems to have shared access to the file
system? Can one safely (and with fail over as necessary)
export via NFS these shared GFS volumes?

o What occurs in the case of a network partition between cluster
members (while they still have connectivity to the storage)?
Does one member "take over" for the other in that case? How
do they decide which if they cannot speak?

o Does GFS use, or provide something similar to, LVM's functionality
with respect to building/resizing/removing volumes and file systems?

Thanks...

Andrew
