Hello,

At http://dsp-bg.info//viewtopic.php?t=217 there is a starting thread
on the discussion about 16 bit DSPs from Texas Instruments and Analog
Devices.

Maybe this is and endless discussion, we know that. We don't want to
say the final word about which one is better, that's not the goal.

The goal is to discuss and make it public about features, experiences,
pros and cons of the different families of 16bit processors from these
vendors, specially the C55x family from TI and Balckfin from ADI.

What I pretend posting it here is to invite you do discuss at
www.dsp-bg.info.

I am very devote to ADI, for good reasons. But knowing more about TI's
options will for sure give me more alternatives and will increase my
knowledge, and I am sure that it will be the same for others, and for
those TI's DSPs lovers who are curious about ADI's DSPs.

Kindest regards,

JaaC

"Ah, Jaime, young padwan - many CPU cycles the dark
side offers, hmmmm?"
