CSCCMD Version 1.1 |
|
|
Have spoken to MS to request the above tool, as per KB 884739, but have been
advised that they are unable to locate it and they suggested I look in the
community.
Does anyone know where I can obtain this? Client becoming very frustrated!
Thanks

Version 1.1 is not available in the Resource Kit, which contains version 1.0.
Have managed to obtain version 1.1 from a member of another newsgroup - he
believes that he got it from MS PSS.

Hi Howard,
You are so lucky to have such a link to get this file. I have been unable to
find it anywhere. Would it be possible for you to send this file to me or
post a link for a download? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Howard, I am experiencing the same difficulty in obtaining the tool.
I cannot believe how little support or info there is on this tool. I find it hard to believe that noone has issues with it.
Has it been posted in some way somewhere?
How on earth do us commoners get it?
Thanks, mike |

Any chance you would zip it up (csccmd 1.1) and email it to me? Thanks

Here is the KB article relating to the *updated* tool.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;884739
Currently, to obtain the updated tool you must call PSS and ask for it. I'm
working
on getting it made available without the need to go through PSS.

Tom, I too am in need of this utility; I work for a non-profit (read: no $$$) and am already in the doghouse for needing to access our offline files through this utility (the 1.0 version didn't work for me). This would certainly help me out of the doghouse, or at least I could get some slack in my leash - 8^-)
