Can any one throw some light on the new video encoding standard
H.26L. If any body can arange for the standard documentation of ITU for
H.26L standard or any other detailed description, it will be a great
help.

I believe that if you register online the ITU allows you 3 free
downloads of documents.

Do you mean H.264? Get it from the ITU web site.

You are misinformed. H.26L is just an older and obsolete name for
H.264. Other names include AVC and Mpeg4- Part10 All the version of
the standard are free and present on the JVT Experts website. The new
jvt website is at
ftp://standards.polycom.com/
The folders are arranged according to the meeting date. Choose the
later ones for latest copy of the standard. If you don't know which
version here is an example
ftp://standards.polycom.com/2003_09_SanDiego/JVT-I050.zip
This one os Sep 2003 San Diego version
