VDS/VSS |

Hi,
I waz wondering if anybody else was in the same scenario as I am in or do u
know a solution to my prblm?? Well, In terms of Microsoft terminology, I
qualify as a Hardware provider. Also I understand I have to write a Device
specific module to be compatible with MS VDS/VSS. My question is, if I have
to be compatible with MS VSS, do I have to write DSM (Device specific module)
for VSS and also write DSM for VDS?? Explaining my question in summary, Do I
have to be compatible with VDS first, to be able to VSS compliant???
Are VDS and VSS related at all???
If so, How are they dependent on each other???
Can I just be compatible with VSS, without supporting VDS??
Appreciate Any help in this regards.

You can write a VSS hardware provider without supporting VDS. There are some
common structures but the providers are separate.
