Hi,

I need a POTS based Intercom system for my apparment building (20
Appartments). I.e. An intercom system that basically consists of a
speakerphone in a vandal proof casing with a keypad that translates
an appartment number to a telephone number and auto-dials this
number. Using the keypad as a code-lock entry pad etc. is of course
usable add-ons.
I obviously do not have the right induztry buzzwords because I am
battling to find any manufacturers of such systems via
google. The only manufacturer I have found is Mircom. I would
appreciate any pointers in finding these type of devices.

Use the search phrase "door entry system" in Google and you will get about
20,000 hits to sift through. Some of those will be of help.
