I wonder if anyone has more specific information if any of the
currently shipping Intel CPUs and/or chipsets are Virtualization
capable?

In this <URL:http://www.pcworld.com/news/article/0,aid,121019,00.asp>,
Gregory Bryant of Intel seems to imply that the capability is already
in some shipping processors and/or chipsets.

It would be nice to be able to buy VT capable systems right now, even
if it needed enabling the features at a leter time with microcde
upgrade, some register bit tweaking or whatever.

Active Management Technology is also toutedd here and there. But
where are the specifications? And it is already shipping in most new
chip sets.
