hard drive partition/ file system |

i had a perfectly good working 40-gig hdd. i have been using winxp for about
6 months and now my hdd only shows in device manager and is not readable, it
doesnt show in my computer at all. I have used software from its vendor which
does partition it, but when winxp tries to access it i have to format it,
which i do but format fails to complete. current file system type is "RAW".
in dos it says access denied or sector not found when i try to access it.
please help. thankyou. |
