Cluster |

I'm not sure if this is the correct newsgroup for this question but I hope
someone can answer my question.
I setup a 2 nodes Exchange cluster with Microsoft iSCSI initiator and using
HP NAS as the Exchange storage server. I created a 253G Logical Unit with 4
partitions(250G - Exchange, 1G - Cluster Quorum, 1G - MSDTC, 1G - EVS) and
my question is, instead of dividing the drive into 4 partitions, is there
another way(without buying extra hw) that I can host multiple iSCSI
initiator on the client machines? or does anyone have a recommendation on
the best way to create Exchange cluster using HP NAS. Any help is
appreciated.
Thanks,

Shouldn't you create 4 luns instead of 1? Or at least 2 luns, 1 for the Quorum, 1 |
for your Exchange data.
AFAIK clustering will never work if the quorum isn't accessable by both nodes...
I'm not familiar with the HP NAS. (We use NetApp.) Doesn't it have a tool to
create luns which are clustered (aka shared)?
With regards,
Ardana. |
