Hello,
Soo we are planning to evaluate Netapp 3050 storage arrays. In the past
I used unix dd commands to create some I/O load.
I am just wondering are there any good tools available to create a load
on this array to measure performance(I/O,CPU... etc)?

Iozone is really quite good. I've been using it for several file
system comparisons.
www.iozone.org
Just for reference though, the 3050's are roughly equivalent to the
960 for NFS, but CIFS is about 20% less. Interestingly enough, it's a
little better than a 960 for FC.

Hello Harish,
You can use tools you can use for the load generation.
(1) You can use hazard to generate the load.
(2) You can also use the IOMeter which is by Intel. Now this is ported
to HP-UX also.
