I ham trying to use xfig to draw a singlecycle CPU architecture. When a wire
gets split I would like to make a little black dot, is that possible?

I could be nice if I could make a box and then "glue" one end of a wire to
it and glue the other to another box, is that possible?

Sure. Draw a small filled black circle over the wire split (I usually draw
only one, and copy that around when needed).

Glues are automatic in xfig. If you select the "move" tool, there's a "Smart
Links" option in the bottom tool-bar. Click on it, and select "Slide".
Then, when moving the boxes around, the wires will follow.

You might want to look at the gEDA project (http://www.geda.seul.org/)
it has schematic capture and other tools. It's released under the GPL.

thanks that was just what I was looking for!

Do you know if its possible to undo more changes than one? Its rather wierd
that is only possible to change the last addition.
