is there a way to spcify group quotas? i have over 5k users and over 300
groups. does windows storage have this feature?

hi ewok,

usually microsoft supports only "quotings" to complete drives for
users/groups

to make quotings for directories depend on users/groups you have to get a
separate tool called "Quota" from some other distributers. This tool will
probably solve your problem.

I am asking for native MS support, not 3rd party.
