Hi members,

I have installed simplescalar version 4.0 (for ARM simulation). However my difficulty was about the way we use it. Differently from version 2 and 3, there aren't mechanisms to configurate it with some options using sim-uop, is that correct? This seems to be more convenient to me once that if the simulator permits to configurate options of the project, the architecture can no longer represents the ARM one.

Is there some way to find out what are some project caractheristics
that the simulator implements, such as if it is able to issue more
than one instruction per cicle and if it uses static (instructions are
executed in order) or dynamic (execution out of order) scheduling?

best regards
