I get the error: "The operation was not performed because the specified
media cannot be found."

I have searched around, some people say to add the user doing the backup in
Backup Operators on the machine it is backing up to. Others say to check
for permissions and whatnot.

My scenario is backing up from one DC to another DC. So I can't add the
user to the Backup Operators on the DC as local users don't exist. I have a
network share mapped that I am backing up to. I am running the backup with
the domain administrator's credentials and I have made sure the share has
read/write capabilities for the domain admin. What else do I need to look
for? Also, when I first create the job it works fine, it just seems to be a
problem with the scheduled task. TIA.

Okay, looks like I have a workaround. I just used the UNC path. Which is
weird cause I have the setup the exact same on another server using the
mapped drive without a problem.
