Any experience with this Linksys Backup Server? Its Linux based. Ive read
a lot of problems its having. I was wondering if they had fixed it so its
up to snuff, doesnt lock up and stuff by being able to download software
patches? Any tips appreciated.

Didn't like my suggestion about Snap server appliances in an earlier
thread, huh?
Keep in mind that this may be your last line of defence if you lose your
data, would you _really_ trust a unit that you believe have serious
problems?

Very true. A good reason to not go with a Snap server.

I have had nothing but good experience with my 250GB Snap server.
I tend to trust nothing, however.
If you or anyone else have had issues, please share, and I will be happy
to re-evaluate my position.

I admit it has been a couple of years since trying one but we had three of them
(all different models) and they all were sent back for replacements at least
once. Maybe they are better now but I won't test my luck with them after the bad
taste that they left. I have no experience with the Linksys versions so I'm not
suggesting that they are any better.
