Hi y'all

What other newegroups with respect to embedded
stuff are there? Besides this one, which is lively enough
and alt.microcontroller.8bit, where nothing much happens...

comp.robotics.misc occasionally touches on embedded topics. Even when
not directly discussing embedded "stuff," the threads often contain good
info that relates to the embedded world.

There is comp.sys.arm if you are using ARMs. sci.electronics.design also
tends to have quite a lot of embedded stuff. Then there are the specialised
groups on Yahoo dealing with individual chip families like the LPC2000 and
forums like AVRfreaks.

There is no newsgroup for PICs, but there is www.piclist.com It's a
mailing list with about 2500 or so members. There is lots of good help
available there.

no newsgroups, but mailing lists. For example, the Motorol^W Freescale
Mailinglists for the HC(S)08, HC(S)12 are rather busy.
