Solar radiation? Yes, we could do with a little more of it here in
Connecticut. The last few days have been quite dark and rainy.
There's blue sky out the window now, though, which is a nice
change.

With respect to your subject line, what do you mean?

Am I cancerous? No.

Is there a mobile phone tower in my back yard? No.

Do I think my mobile phone usage greatly affects my
health? No. (My mobile phone usage is minimal).

Ciao,

Peter K.

I've not had any problems with radiation from mine. RF is non-ionising, so
it should be quite safe. I don't use it very much, anyway.

We have asked people to switch off their phones or leave them well outside

when we are trying to do receiver measurements in the radio lab. People
often forget that they still have them in their pockets and it can mess up
the test results if they suddenly do a periodic location update in the
middle of a test on something else. I expect that people doing audio tests
might also wish to take note as sometimes the audio amps/wiring etc. partly
rectify the radio pulses and can introduce audio frequency disturbances to
your samples.

Best of Luck - Mike

There's so much pollution in the bands these days you're probably
going to be struggling with this more and more.

Once BT, WUSB, UWB, and WiMAX become prevalent (a big if in some
cases), in addition to the WiLAN stuff already happening, it'll be
tougher to keep labs clean.
